Job Description Summary

The Wind Turbine Blade Service Technician will perform specialized field and workshop-based tasks related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of wind turbine blades. This role requires expertise in composite materials, specifically polyester and epoxy laminates, and involves hands-on service, technical direction, and leadership in blade repair and maintenance operations

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

· Perform/check composite blade repairs according to the specified instructions.

· Prepare applicable service documentation and service reports including details of repairs.

· EHS responsible for all GE and local / regulatory obligation during execution time

· Ensure customer site rules, company regulations, policies and procedures are being always followed.
· Blade inspection Periodically
· Engineering communication for blade issues
· Follow-up all blade issues internally and externally 
· Follow-up repairs 
· Follow up ongoing all RCAs 
· Organize blade repair by following correct procedure.

· Excellent report preparation

· Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills

· Good personal presentation

· Ability to make decisions under pressure.

· Good commercial and business understanding

· Working knowledge of various types of telecommunication equipment 

· Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

· Keep track of quality, costs and efficiency

· Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

Supervise job execution of 3rd party in case requested and coordinate the repair activity assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Experience in epoxy and polyester laminate repairs.
  • Professional Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Education.
  • Capability to understand mechanical/electrical diagram.
  • Rope Access Certification is Preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willing to travel abroad more than 90 % of the working time.
  • Capability of working at heights (up to 160m)

  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Access;
