Role Overview
We're seeking an AR/AP Specialist to join our finance team and handle accounts receivable and accounts payable operations. This is a critical role supporting our mortgage industry clients who require excellent communication and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable operations (primary focus)
Handle accounts payable processing (secondary focus)
Process invoices and payments through QuickBooks
Communicate with mortgage company clients via email
Maintain accurate financial records
Support month-end close processes
Navigate and learn new financial systems (potential migration to NetSuite and AP platforms like Bill.com or similar)
Required Qualifications
2-5 years of finance/accounting experience
Proficiency with QuickBooks (desktop or online)
Strong written communication skills in English (fluency is essential)
Ability to work in a remote environment with flexible time zone overlap
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with inventory management systems
Familiarity with AP automation platforms
Experience working with financial institutions or mortgage companies
Technology aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems
