Full Job Description

This is a 100% remote position but they would prefer this person to be based somewhere in Florida.The Wall Panel Designer is responsible for creating detailed designs and shop drawings for wall panel systems used in commercial, industrial, or residential projects. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and production teams to ensure that designs meet project specifications, building codes, and manufacturing requirements. Key Responsibilities:Develop accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings, models, and renderings for wall panel layouts and assemblies.Interpret architectural and structural plans to create detailed shop drawings.Specify materials, dimensions, tolerances, and installation details.Coordinate with engineering, production, and installation teams to ensure manufacturability and constructability.Revise drawings based on feedback from internal teams, vendors, or clients.Maintain organized project files and documentation.Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and project requirements.Support production by providing technical clarification as needed during fabrication and installation.. RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar design tools).Strong understanding of construction methods, manufacturing processes, or architectural designAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprintsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in architectural millwork, panelized wall systems, prefab construction, or similar fields.Familiarity with CNC programming or manufacturing workflows.Knowledge of materials such as wood, aluminum, steel, or composite panels BenefitsFull benefits
