About the Role
Adaptive Security is rethinking how employees learn to stay secure against modern, AI-powered cyber threats. We believe security training doesn't have to be boring — it can be engaging, creative, and effective.
As a Video Producer/Editor, you'll be a Swiss Army knife of video creation, owning the entire production process of Content Team videos from initial concept to final publishing. You'll bring fresh visual storytelling approaches to an industry that's been stuck with outdated training formats, while managing all aspects of production to deliver high-quality content at scale.
Success in this role comes from being a creative visionary who can also execute flawlessly — you'll ideate concepts, develop scripts, hire talent, manage production, and edit final deliverables that learners actually want to watch.
This is an in-office, high-output team that moves quickly and cares deeply about quality.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end production: Drive projects from initial ideation through scripting, talent acquisition, filming, editing, and final publishing
Create and innovate video formats: Produce videos ranging across scenario-based situations, short-form educational content, visual concept breakdowns, and narrative arc series, determining the video formats we should use to deliver engaging training content
Manage production networks: Leverage your rolodex of contractors, editors, actors, and freelancers to execute complex video projects efficiently
Script development: Write and refine scripts that make complex cybersecurity topics accessible and engaging
Advanced post-production: Edit video content and create motion graphics, with particular emphasis on After Effects work
Creative problem-solving: Transform dry, complex topics into compelling visual narratives that drive learning outcomes
What You Bring
Production expertise: 5+ years as a video producer with proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion
Swiss Army knife skillset: Strong capabilities across scripting, casting, directing, editing, and motion graphics
Premiere Pro and After Effects proficiency: Advanced skills in editing as well as motion graphics and visual effects to enhance educational content
Network of talent: Established relationships with contractors, actors, and production professionals
Creative vision: Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative video formats that break traditional training conventions
Educational content experience: Background creating instructional or corporate training content preferred
Entrepreneurial execution: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving requirements and tight deadlines
