Vertical Product Manager

As a Vertical Product Manager you own SEON’s product fit for the betting and gaming industry by combining deep product expertise with strong customer engagement. Act as the strategic link between iGaming clients, Account Management, and Product teams, driving vertical insights, regulatory needs, shaping industry-specific requirements, and ensuring Fraud, IDV, and AML capabilities meet the unique needs of operators in this space.

This role will report to the VP of Product, offers flexibility and is based in our Budapest office with a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Customer Engagement & Commercial Support

• Support Account Management during QBRs and onsite sessions with expert knowledge across Fraud, IDV, and AML.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance tailored to iGaming use cases.

• Map SEON’s capabilities onto customer workflows, identify new value opportunities, and highlight gaps that require product investment.

Industry, Regulatory & Competitive Intelligence

• Carry out continuous research into iGaming regulations, operational models, trends, and competitive offerings across global jurisdictions.

• Consolidate findings into actionable insights, informing SEON’s broader product direction and identifying where we must innovate or differentiate.

Strategic Product Direction & Requirements

• Define the long-term product capability roadmap required to strengthen SEON’s position in the betting and gaming market. Identify opportunities, write structured PRDs with clear requirements, and deliver the data, evidence, and customer references needed for product prioritization.

• Work closely with relevant product areas across Fraud, IDV, and AML to ensure clarity and alignment.

• Oversee delivery of iGaming-specific initiatives across multiple product teams, ensuring coherent value creation across APIs, workflows, and compliance-related features. Align product, engineering, data, and commercial teams around vertical goals, expected outcomes, and timelines.

Customer Research & Continuous Insight Collection

• Coordinate interviews, discovery workshops, and validation sessions with iGaming operators and partners. Ensure Product teams have direct access to the right users to test assumptions, validate designs, and understand real-world workflows.

• Convert qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations that strengthen SEON’s product fit for the industry.

• Ensure SEON’s solutions meet the operational and regulatory realities of betting and gaming, including multi-accounting, bonus abuse, live betting risk, KYC/IDV challenges, and AML transaction monitoring.

• Own the product narrative for the iGaming vertical and enable internal teams to effectively communicate SEON’s value.

• Continuously evaluate vertical performance and propose enhancements that improve accuracy, coverage, usability, and integration.

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

• 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS or data-driven domains as Product Manager, Project Lead, Technical Account Manager

• Strong track record in customer-facing PM or consultative roles, with the ability to think on your feet and handle complex product or technical questions.

• Knowledge of betting & gaming, fraud prevention, IDV/KYC, or AML is a significant advantage.

• Experience conducting structured market, regulatory, or competitor research and turning insights into product strategy.

• Exceptional English communication skills, clear, precise, and confident with senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and documentation skills, including the ability to write high-quality PRDs and business cases.

• Comfortable driving initiatives without a dedicated engineering team, influencing cross-functional groups through clarity and expertise.

• Familiarity with Agile processes and experience collaborating with engineering, data, or architecture teams.
