What you would do as our UK Portfolio Manager
As a UK Portfolio Manager at Traka, you will be crucial in shaping the new face of the Project Manager s team, implementing process improvements within the department and dependent functions. Reporting to the UK Head of Engineering, Operations & Project Management, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent delivery of on-time and on-budget projects within the team. This is a remote job within the UK.5
You would also:
" Lead and oversee the successful delivery of customer projects across the UK portfolio, ensuring alignment with budget, timelines, and quality standards.
" Evaluate and prioritize projects based on strategic value, risk, cost, and resource availability to maximize business impact.
" Coach and support Project Managers, fostering talent development and ensuring consistent adoption of best practices.
" Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and other teams to drive process improvements and customer satisfaction.
" Monitor project governance and financial performance, providing clear reporting and acting as a key escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
The skills and experience you needWe are looking for someone who has:
" Proven experience managing Project Managers within a technology-driven organization.
" Strong background in overseeing project budgets and understanding key commercial drivers.
" Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
" Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
" Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong focus on delivering successful project outcomes under pressure.
