About the Company

Why We Built Lyric: Supply chains are more critical and complex than ever. Every day, large enterprises navigate trillions of possible decisions that could impact the bottom line. Powerful algorithms and AI can address these problems, yet most organizations struggle to leverage supply chain AI at scale. The current SCM technologies are either rigid, limited-scope point solutions or custom solutions built in-house, which demand immense expertise and investment.

That is…until now.

Enter Lyric: Lyric is an enterprise AI platform built specifically for supply chains, offering the best of both worlds:

  • Out-of-the-box AI solutions for optimizing networks, allocating inventory, scheduling routes, planning fulfillment capacity, promising orders, propagating demand, building predictions, analyzing scenarios, and more, plus

  • A platform-first approach that empowers both business and technical users with end-to-end product composability, leveraging no-code tools, their own code, or even forking our code to build and refine supply chain decision intelligence

With Lyric, enterprises no longer have to choose between flexibility and speed, they get both.

The Mission: We’re building a new era in supply chain with the team best equipped to lead it. With over 20 years at the intersection of supply chain and algorithms, we developed a deep conviction that global supply chains needed something like Lyric. Since our inception in December 2021, that conviction has been validated time and time again.

Today, a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, Nike, and more, are innovating on their own terms with Lyric. We can’t wait to see what our customers, both current and future, are empowered to build with us next. Come build with us!

What You’ll Do

At Lyric, we’re building a modern decision intelligence platform that helps businesses move faster, think smarter, and act confidently. But great software is only great if people know how to use it. That’s where you come in.
As a Technical Writer, you’ll turn complex product functionality into content that’s clear and easy to use. From user guides to release notes, in-product help to walkthrough videos, you'll create documentation that supports our users and reflects our brand voice.
This is more than just a writing job — it’s a chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, experiment with new tools (especially AI), and continuously improve how we deliver content.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career — recent grads, career-switchers, or writers with up to 3 years of experience who want to grow fast while working on real products.

What You'll Be Writing (and Doing)
User Guides – Create and maintain clear, concise guides that help users understand and navigate Lyric Studio and related features.
Release Notes – Draft structured, scannable release notes that highlight what’s new, improved, or fixed — and why it matters.
In-Product Help – Contribute to tooltips, guided tours, and inline help to support users directly in the product.
UX Content Reviews – Work with product and design teams to review in-app copy, such as labels, messages, and tooltips, to ensure clarity and consistency.
Visual & Multimedia Content – Help script product walkthrough videos, create annotated visuals, and support other visual documentation efforts.

Content Improvement Loops – Use internal feedback, user queries, and analytics to iterate and improve documentation over time.
AI Tool Exploration – Continuously explore and test AI and productivity tools that can help us write better and faster. We encourage ongoing experimentation.
Contribute Ideas – Share ideas to improve how we work, what we write, and how we deliver documentation to users.
Deliver on Timelines – Prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet documentation deadlines in sync with product releases.

Tools You Might Use
Authoring & Collaboration – GitBook, Markdown, GitHub, Confluence.
In-Product Help – Whatfix.
Design & UX – Figma.

Visuals & Videos – SnagIt, Synthesia.
Don’t worry if you’re new to some of these — we’ll help you get up to speed.

What We’re Looking For
Strong writing skills with a clear, structured style — you can explain complex concepts simply.
A sharp eye for detail and consistency across UI, guides, and release notes.
Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and deliver content in sync with fast-moving product cycles.
Curiosity about AI tools, technical systems, and how users interact with them.
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback — you’re collaborative, not territorial.
Willingness to figure things out independently, ask smart questions, and iterate quickly.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
Lyric was founded in 2022 to bring modern decision intelligence to enterprise supply chains by
combining data, algorithms, workflows, and user-friendly tools. Today, we are working with
leading global brands to make supply chains smarter, more responsive, and scalable — even in
the face of fragmentation and complexity.

Our culture is built on innovation, collaboration, and empowerment. We believe:
Documentation is part of the product, not an afterthought.
Great work comes from cross-functional collaboration between product, design, and engineering.
Curiosity and continuous improvement are part of how we work — whether it’s exploring AI tools or rethinking how we communicate product value.
We operate with a fast, structured pace that respects people’s focus and ambitions.
