What we're looking for

Rain is looking for a Technical Recruiter, in this role, you’ll work closely with our CTO to build out our engineering and product team. You can be expected to own full-cycle hiring across engineering, data, and product—building diverse pipelines of passive candidates, running structured, data-driven processes, and closing top talent.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering/data/product roles: kickoff/intake, outbound sourcing, screens, interview coordination, debriefs, offers, and closes.

  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality pipelines through targeted outreach, referrals, events, and talent communities; run ongoing market mapping for priority roles.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define scorecards, structure interviews, calibrate bar/levels, and train interviewers to drive signal and reduce bias.

  • Elevate employer brand and candidate experience—write compelling JDs, craft personalized outreach/nurture campaigns, communicate quickly, and negotiate/close top talent.

What you will bring to Rain

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting

  • A proven track record of hiring for early-stage, high-growth startups—especially in fintech or technical environments.

  • Expertise in sourcing strategies, interview best practices, and compensation planning.

  • High EQ and communication skills—you can collaborate effectively across all levels of the company.

Desirable but not mandatory

  • Familiarity with HR and ATS systems like Ashby and Justworks.

  • Exposure to fast-moving sectors like fintech, or crypto

Compensation will vary based on experience from $120,000-$190,000
