Full Job Description

Build the data infrastructure for robots operating in the real world.

Robotics is moving from research labs into production across factories, warehouses, vehicles, and field deployments. When robots fail, behave unexpectedly, or need to be improved, engineers rely on data to understand what actually happened.

At Foxglove, we build the observability, visualization, and data infrastructure that makes that possible. Our tools are used by robotics and autonomous systems teams to ingest, store, query, replay, and analyze massive volumes of multimodal sensor data from live systems and from production fleets.

Foxglove is building the future of tools for robotics and embodied AI. Our mission is to accelerate the research, development, and scaling of autonomous systems by providing powerful infrastructure for data visualization, management, and collaboration. Thousands of developers and organizations already rely on Foxglove’s products to bring their robotics systems to production.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to bring our engineering innovations to market. In this role, you will own the positioning and messaging for this platform evolution. You will be responsible for translating complex technical capabilities—like MCAP, WebSockets, multi-modal timeseries data visualization, and heterogeneous data ingestion—into compelling value propositions for everyone from academics to developers to enterprise executives.

You will partner closely with Product Management to define the narrative for our core pillars and equip our Sales team to win against aggressive competitors and entrenched in-house solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Platform Narrative: Craft the "Better Together" story that connects our Visualization, Data, and Fleet products into a cohesive infrastructure platform for Physical AI.

  • Drive New Product Launches: Lead the go-to-market strategy for our 2026 roadmap, including the commercial launch of multiple new product pillars.

  • Technical Content & Evangelism: Create high-leverage technical content—including white papers, architecture diagrams, demo scripts, and engaging changelogs—that speaks directly to senior engineers and architects. You will be the expert on why a customer should buy rather than build.

  • Sales Enablement & Competitive Intel: Arm our Account Executives with battle cards, case studies, and ROI calculators to win against competitors and alternatives.

  • Pricing & Packaging Rollout: Collaborate with Product and Sales to communicate our evolving pricing models to the market.

  • Persona Development: Refine our positioning for distinct personas, from the Robotics Software Engineer (user) to the VP of Autonomy (buyer), ensuring we effectively target the specific pain points of Automotive and Defense sectors.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in technical B2B SaaS, developer tools, or data infrastructure.

  • Technical Fluency: You aren’t afraid of the code. You can come up to speed on the difference between TCP vs. UDP data transmission, understand the needs of perception, localization, and navigation roboticists, and can credibly discuss edge vs. cloud architecture trade-offs.

  • Storytelling: You can take a feature like "Server-side Downsampling" and translate it into a business benefit regarding bandwidth costs and operator latency.

  • Commercial Strategic Thinking: You understand the mechanics of product-led growth and enterprise software buying. You know how to frame a solution to unlock budget from a VP of Engineering.

  • Execution Rigor: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing long-term strategic positioning with the immediate need to generate enterprise MQLs.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Simulation, or ML & AL development tools.

  • Experience marketing products with consumption-based (e.g., Snowflake, Datadog) or per-seat (e.g., Figma) business models.

What We Offer

  • $300 monthly budget towards commuter benefits or building your personal workspace (remote only)

  • Competitive equity grant in a Series B company

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Term Life insurance coverage at 100% for employees and 75% for dependents

  • 401(k) matching up to 4%

  • 4 weeks vacation, plus holidays and winter break

  • All expenses paid company off-sites 1-2× per year

Why Join Us

  • Impact: Own growth at a fast-growing, high-leverage moment for the company.

  • Mission: Accelerate the development of the next generation of robotics and embodied AI.

  • Team: Work with world-class engineers, designers, and researchers passionate about open-source and developer tools.

  • Ownership: Drive initiatives end-to-end, with high autonomy and visibility.
