Strategy and Operations Principal / Manager / Associate

We build the most complete and accurate picture of the B2B buyer by integrating with every tool your team uses, partnering with third-party data providers, and deploying custom AI research agents. We use this data to power applications that automate high-value, high-complexity workflows across the go-to-market and revenue teams. Our core products include:

• Marketing Intelligence – instantly answers questions like “What led to that sudden drop in pipeline?”

• Account Intelligence – surfaces next-best actions to help reps move target accounts toward conversion

Since launching in January 2023, we’ve come through Y Combinator, raised a $26M Series A led by Bessemer. We’re growing 3× year-over-year, have hit multimillion ARR, and process over 60 TB of GTM data monthly. 🚀 Your Mission

HockeyStack is growing fast — with 3× revenue in the past year, a breakout product, and customers scaling just as quickly. We’re hiring a Strategy and Operations Principal / Manager / Associate to support our Special Projects team. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you’ll help run core processes, drive strategic initiatives, and directly shape how we scale.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Take on the company’s highest-leverage problems across product, operations, strategy, and go-to-market.

• Own critical initiatives end-to-end: define the problem, run deep analysis, make clear recommendations, and drive execution.

• Operate with extreme range and ownership: Build and optimize scalable processes to continue HockeyStack's hyper-growth

• Explore and define which projects the team should prioritize, and set a timeline to reach goals quickly

🧬 What We’re Looking For

• Background in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or strategy (required)

• Solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end

• Ability to break complex problems into smaller ones

• Low-ego, high-output teammate who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments

• Proficient in working with data

• Excited about in-person work, 5 days per week in San Francisco

As part of our San Francisco, California-based team, the on-target earnings range for this role is $110,000– $180,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
