Full Job Description

Robotics will have a massive positive impact on the world economy and global human productivity over the coming decade. At Foxglove, we're excited for this future, and we're building powerful open source and commercial tools to accelerate it.

We're an experienced team of independent thinkers, with a passion for creating high quality products. We're looking for self-motivated and fast-learning individuals to join our mission.

About the Role

As the Staff Growth PM, you’ll be responsible for driving user growth across the full customer lifecycle — acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, referral, and revenue. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives to experiment with onboarding flows, product nudges, collaboration features, and other growth levers.

This is a high-impact role for someone analytical, creative, and entrepreneurial. You’ll work closely with marketing, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams, but you’ll own the growth strategy end-to-end.

Location

Foxglove is a remote-friendly company, with employees spread across many locations. We maintain Pacific Time hours and hire within ±4 hours of U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration.

This role is onsite in our San Francisco office, but we are open to remote for highly experienced candidates with prior experience at a leading robotics or autonomous vehicle company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Foxglove’s product-led growth strategy, with clear goals and metrics across activation, engagement, retention, referral, and monetization.

  • Lead experimentation and testing to validate ideas, measure impact, and scale what works.

  • Create and evangelize growth principles across teams to help others think in terms of hypotheses, experiments, and measurable outcomes

  • Analyze the user funnel to identify drop-offs, friction points, and opportunities for compounding growth.

  • Partner with design and engineering to deliver delightful, user-centric growth features (e.g., onboarding, collaboration, viral loops, upgrade flows).

  • Drive research to combine quantitative insights (DAU/MAU, churn, activation rates) with qualitative feedback.

  • Act as a champion for growth thinking across Foxglove, influencing stakeholders without relying on direct authority.

  • Over time, help shape pricing, packaging, and referral programs to accelerate adoption and revenue.

  • Collaborate with marketing to run campaigns that improve activation, engagement, and retention.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven growth track record: 7+ years in product management, ideally with direct ownership of growth initiatives at a PLG company.

  • Analytical and data-driven: Comfortable digging into funnels, SQL queries, dashboards, and cohort analyses.

  • Creative problem-solver: Ability to ideate, prototype, and validate new ways to grow adoption and engagement.

  • Execution-focused: Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a bias for shipping and learning.

  • User-obsessed: Skilled at combining product analytics with user research to deeply understand motivations and behaviors.

  • Collaborative leader: Experience aligning engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams behind growth goals.

  • Technical and product-savvy: Ability to understand developer tools, technical trade-offs, and the robotics/AI ecosystem (a plus, but not required).

What We Offer

  • $300 monthly budget towards commuter benefits or building your personal workspace (remote only)

  • Competitive equity grant in a Series B company

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Term Life insurance coverage at 100% for employees and 75% for dependents

  • 401(k) matching up to 4%

  • 4 weeks vacation, plus holidays and winter break

  • All expenses paid company off-sites 2× per year

Why Join Us

  • Impact: Own growth at a fast-growing, high-leverage moment for the company.

  • Mission: Accelerate the development of the next generation of robotics and embodied AI.

  • Team: Work with world-class engineers, designers, and researchers passionate about open-source and developer tools.

  • Ownership: Drive initiatives end-to-end, with high autonomy and visibility.
