Staff Product Manager - Benefits

This role sits within the Benefits product area at Deel, one of the company’s fastest-growing and highest-revenue product lines.

Benefits has evolved from an add-on feature into a strategic product area, with a focus on building a comprehensive benefits administration platform directly within the Deel ecosystem.The vision is to allow companies and employees to manage global benefits seamlessly, while enabling deeper integrations with providers and new financial services over time.

We’re looking for an experienced Staff Product Manager to drive the next phase of Deel’s Benefits experience, with a particular focus on improving the employee-facing product experience and building new capabilities such as flexible benefits and integrated financial services.

This role will focus on zero-to-one product development, helping define how employees discover, select, and manage benefits globally within the Deel platform.

What you’ll do

• Drive execution across the employee benefits experience, partnering with engineering and design to ship high-impact improvements that strengthen Deel Benefits as a global benefits platform
• Lead discovery to deeply understand the employee experience across different markets, ensuring benefits are intuitive, accessible, and valuable to end users
• Own and deliver new product initiatives,including upcoming capabilities such as flexible benefits where employees can allocate benefit budgets across different services
• Partner closely with Design and Engineering to build high-quality, well-crafted product experiences, bringing strong product taste and attention to user experience
• Work closely with multiple engineering teams and technical leads to deliver solutions quickly while maintaining scalability and reliability
• Leverage Deel’s existing fintech infrastructure to launch transaction-based and financial benefit experiences that employees can easily use and manage
• Ship frequently and iterate rapidly, delivering meaningful improvements to the product on a continuous basis
• Collaborate with other product domains (e.g. Payroll, HRIS, Platform) to ensure benefits integrate seamlessly across the broader Deel platform
• Drive alignment across global stakeholders including GTM, Sales, Ops, and Customer Success to support adoption and revenue growth

A clearly defined product execution and planning for the next phase of Deel Benefits, with strong cross-functional alignment
A significantly improved employee benefits experience, measured through engagement and usability metrics
Successful delivery of new benefits capabilities, including flexible benefits and new integrated services
Consistent product delivery with frequent launches and measurable product improvements
Strong collaboration with engineering and design teams, enabling fast and high-quality product execution

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, including time spent operating at Staff level or equivalent impact as a senior IC
• Proven ability to build and launch products from zero to one in fast-moving environments
• Strong product craft with excellent design intuition and user-experience judgement
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial products is highly valued, particularly in transaction-based systems
• Experience building consumer-quality (B2C-style) product experiences within complex platforms
• Ability to work closely with multiple engineering teams and drive delivery in highly collaborative environments
• Strong product strategy, discovery, and execution skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Comfort operating in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on shipping and iteration
