Staff Analyst, GTM Analytics
Full Job Description
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
Snowflake is hiring a Staff Analyst, GTM Analytics within the Data Analytics and AI org (DAA). In this role, you will be the lead technical execution partner for the Services Delivery (SD) organization. You will own the development of core data models, high-impact reporting, and the implementation of AI-driven analytical tools that provide deep visibility into project health and delivery performance. You will be responsible for building the "plumbing" that makes our data accessible, reliable, and AI-ready for our global delivery teams.
This role requires in-person attendance in either our Menlo Park (CA), Dublin (CA), Bellevue (WA), or New York (NY) office at least 3 days per week.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Build the Foundation: Develop and maintain core analytical data models (via dbt) for Services Delivery. You will ensure that datasets for project tracking, resource utilization, and financial metrics are accurate, optimized, and governed.
Operationalize AI Workflows: Implement AI-assisted "skills" and self-service solutions that help business users interact with data naturally. You will transform complex datasets into AI-friendly structures that power internal agents and automated summaries.
Deliver High-Impact Analytics: Create and own the suite of dashboards (via Sigma and Streamlit) used by Services leadership to track delivery speed, quality, and resource staffing pipelines.
Translate Logic to Code: Partner with Services Delivery stakeholders to document business rules and translate them into technical requirements and scalable data models.
Guardian of Data Quality: Perform deep-dive reconciliations between CRM/PSA systems (Salesforce) and internal data models to ensure that our reporting is the undisputed "Source of Truth."
Enable Self-Service: Act as a technical mentor to the broader team and business users, driving adoption of new AI tools and ensuring that delivery leads can get the answers they need without manual intervention.
Collaborate Across DAA: Work closely with Analytics Engineering to ensure our Services data models are integrated with the broader GTM data infrastructure and follow Snowflake’s best practices.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Technical Excellence: 8+ years of experience in Analytics/BI, with a heavy emphasis on advanced SQL and hands-on dbt proficiency for building production-grade data pipelines.
AI & App Literacy: Experience building data structures for AI consumption and a working knowledge of Python for data manipulation or building interactive apps (e.g., Streamlit).
Domain Expertise: Strong familiarity with Professional Services or Consulting operations and the CRM/PSA ecosystem (e.g., Salesforce). You understand how to measure utilization, project margins, and delivery milestones.
Execution Mindset: A proven track record of taking a project from a vague business request to a fully automated, production-ready analytical solution.
Strong Communication: The ability to explain technical data concepts to business stakeholders and collaborate effectively across the Analytics Engineering and Product teams.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
