As the Sr Manager of the Global Fulfillment Solutions, you will lead the Global Fulfillment Solutions Team, setting the strategic vision and objectives for scalable resourcing processes and automations, leveraging AI and a team of Global fulfillment managers, that will drive efficient resource utilization across the company. You will be responsible for defining the long-term roadmap for internal and external resource fulfillment, talent allocation, ensuring direct alignment with Snowflake’s annual revenue and delivery goals.
This person will elevate the global fulfillment function from transactional fulfillment to a strategic advisory via automation and AI. By using Snowflake technology and internal AI tools—including CoCo (Cortex Code), Raven, and other emerging capabilities—you will define an AI-forward path to bring insights to actions faster. We need someone comfortable with SQL and coding who actively embraces our proprietary AI technology to transform how fulfillment work gets done.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Governance
Define the Roadmap: Define the long‑term roadmap for resource fulfillment, talent allocation, and partner engagement, aligning directly with annual revenue and delivery goals.
Policy Development: Develop and implement global resourcing policies, procedures, and systems to ensure optimal allocation of human and technical resources and consistent high-quality fulfillment.
Executive Alignment: Collaborate with senior executives to establish teams and develop strategies for resource coverage within budget constraints.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure alignment of resource allocation with business objectives, acting as the bridge between Sales, Delivery, and Finance.
2. Operations& Performance
Drive Key Metrics: Drive Services Delivery to meet goals for billable utilization, time to staff, and time to start.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze resource utilization metrics, providing regular, insightful reports to senior management on the health of the business.
3. Innovation, Analytics & Technology
Capacity Planning: Partner with BizOps to drive sophisticated scenario planning and predictive analytics, informing global recruiting and partner strategy well ahead of demand. Leveraging Certinia PSA not just to track current needs, but to forecast staffing needs and optimize resource allocation.
Tech Enablement: Champion the adoption of AI and advanced analytics within the Global Fulfillment tech stack, shifting the function from transactional fulfillment to strategic advisory.
Data-First Culture: Instill a data‑first culture within Global Fulfillment and among delivery leaders, leveraging predictive models for demand forecasting, skill matching, and automation of routine tasks.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Global Leadership: Lead and develop a global team of Global Fulfillment Managers, elevating the function through coaching, strategic guidance, and accountability for high-quality fulfillment outcomes.
Mentorship: Mentor and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and performance management to build a best-in-class operations team.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
10+ years resource management experience in the software solutions industry.
5+ years in a leadership role, with experience leading global or distributed teams.
Strategic & Operational Mix: Proven ability to manage day-to-day fulfillment (utilization, conflict resolution) while simultaneously driving long-term strategic initiatives (AI adoption, roadmap planning).
Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in resource management software, ERP systems, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Workday).
Analytical Excellence: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively analyze data to drive business recommendations.
SQL Coding preferred.
Key Competencies:
Communication: Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form; outstanding interpersonal abilities.
Diplomacy: Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary to drive business forward or obtain results.
Agility: Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease; able to prioritize across multiple groups and time zones.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
