About the Team

The Enterprise team is enabling us to build groundbreaking customer experiences for dental groups. The team will be responsible for building reporting products, embedded insights, onboarding workflows, bulk management tools, billing & payment systems, and much more. This team will support Dandy’s mission to become the essential partner for dental groups by helping them scale operations, improve clinical outcomes, and grow revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a strong full stack engineering team, fostering a high-performance, high-trust culture

  • Drive execution across the stack — from early scoping to production reliability

  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Operations to define and deliver roadmap priorities

  • Make pragmatic technical decisions and help your team balance speed, quality, and maintainability

  • Own delivery, accountability, and operational excellence for your team’s systems

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor engineers to build a cohesive and inclusive team

  • Drive career development and performance management for your reports

  • Help define and evolve Dandy’s engineering practices, architecture, and culture

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years experience as an engineering manager and 5+ years as a software engineer

  • Proven success leading a team through rapid growth, ideally in a startup or high-scale environment

  • Have a proven ability to set and execute a strategic vision, especially in dynamic environments with competing priorities

  • Ability to deeply understand and challenge technical decisions while trusting your team

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions

  • Track record of shipping product in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

  • Empathy for users, a product sense for what matters, and a bias toward action

  • Experience with modern web development technologies (React, GraphQL, Typescript, Python, etc.)
