As a Software Engineer at Vanta, you will own day-to-day execution for the Integrations squad. You'll provide technical leadership and act as the primary point of contact for escalations, partnering closely with Customer Success and Engineering to drive fixes and improvements while ensuring a consistently high-quality customer experience.
The Automations team owns Vanta's integrations platform, which powers continuous monitoring across 400+ integrations spanning cloud providers, security tools, and SaaS applications. As Vanta scales across market segments, integration support is becoming increasingly complex: we're handling everything from authentication issues and API rate limits to sophisticated multi-cloud architectures and custom integration workflows for enterprise customers.

What you'll do as a Software Engineer at Vanta:
Deliver on projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant impact to our business
Set direction for critical technical surface areas, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth
Design, develop, and own new product functionality and/or infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve their security and prove it
Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow
How to be successful in this role:
You have prior experience working on nascent teams with a knack for helping establish team culture, norms, and processes
You have experience working as part of an on call rotation, ensuring the customer experience is considered throughout the SDLC
You have experience (and success!) launching greenfield projects with a constant eye towards rapid iteration
Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
