Full Job Description

About Levelpath

Backed by some of the top venture capital firms in Silicon Valley and founded in 2022 by third-time founders with two successful exits, Levelpath is building autonomous procurement.

We've built an agentic software factory that accelerates our development by an order of magnitude. Everything we learn about harnessing AI to build software goes straight back into the product, driving faster, safer, and more transparent outcomes for enterprise procurement teams. We build with the aggressive assumption that everything in procurement can be done by AI. Our job is to prove it.

The role

You will build product inside the agentic software factory. Specs live in markdown, agents do most of the typing, and you spend your time steering, reviewing, and hardening what they produce. Agents are the execution capacity here — your job is to drive them to the outcome: unblock them when they stall, correct them when they drift, and verify what they ship.

This is a full-stack role on a shared TypeScript codebase. Our backend is a NestJS monolith on PostgreSQL with row-level security; our frontend is a React / TypeScript SPA; mobile is React Native. You will move across that surface, treat LLM output as a draft to verify rather than an answer to ship, and build trustworthy systems on top of an inherently unreliable component.

The factory is not perfect. When it falls short, you fix the cause and contribute the tooling back so the next feature ships faster. This is how we compound.

What you will do

  • Build and ship product in an agent-driven workflow (NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Docker), steering agents and reviewing their output.

  • Harden systems built on top of LLMs: schema enforcement, validation, graceful degradation, and knowing exactly where things break.

  • Use your engineering experience to raise the bar on code quality, tools, and processes for the whole team.

  • Work across a shared TypeScript codebase with our frontend and mobile teams.

What you bring

  • Solid full-stack or backend fundamentals — several years shipping production software.

  • AI-pilled, genuinely. Your instinct is to hand work to agents first, and you want to turn over as much as possible to AI in your own workflow and in the product. You have the judgment to know when it worked.

  • A deep-seated need to ship. We win by outshipping everyone, and we hire engineers who treat blockers as things to solve, not things to wait on.

  • Ownership by default. No one here is just on a team — everyone owns and leads something, and you should want that.

  • TypeScript / Node.js experience (NestJS a plus). We care more about fundamentals than exact-stack trivia.

  • PostgreSQL knowledge and comfort with Docker / Docker Compose.

  • Excellent communication, written and verbal, and genuine enjoyment of working alongside a team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with React / React Native.

  • Familiarity with multi-tenant data and row-level security (RLS).

  • Experience building or hardening systems on top of third-party APIs and LLMs.

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation including stock options.

  • Hybrid working with flexible hours, and an office in Teodors / Jaunā Teika.

  • Private health insurance and paid time off.

  • Your choice of devices and the tools that let you do your best work.

  • An AI-paced culture and an international team with a wealth of knowledge.

  • A team that plays like pros: high standards, high growth, no passengers.
