Full Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Type: Full-Time, Remote

Salary: $1,600 - $2,500 (based on experience and ability to take on a broader scope of work)

Location: Latin America

Company Overview:
We are a dynamic organization operating across two brands: a leading craft beer franchise with locations across Florida and an innovative e-commerce supplements company currently undergoing an exciting rebrand. Our mission is to expand our customer reach through creative and effective social media and content strategies.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly proactive, hands-on Social Media Manager who can fully own the day-to-day execution of our social presence across multiple brands.

This is not a “post-only” corporate social media role. We are looking for someone who can independently drive content creation, engagement, community growth, and campaign execution from start to finish with minimal hand-holding.

The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful, execution-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean startup environment. You should be someone who naturally takes initiative, moves quickly, solves problems independently, and can turn ideas into content without relying on large support teams.

You will work directly with founders, operators, and store teams to bring brand ideas to life and help grow awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition across all channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute social media strategies and content for multiple brands.

  • Uphold and follow distinct brand voices, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.

  • Create, schedule, and post high-quality, engaging content (copy, graphics, video) across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and more).

  • Work directly with general managers and the founders to coordinate content needs, gather assets, respond to customer inquiries, and fulfill marketing objectives.

  • Handle community engagement, including customer responses.

  • Participate in weekly marketing meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Monitor analytics, report on metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Identify and develop relationships with influencers, create UGC opportunities, and support affiliate programs.

  • Contribute to building content calendars and recommending new ideas aligned with brand objectives.

  • Perform basic design tasks (e.g., graphics for posts, using tools like Canva), following brand guides.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably in startups, DTC brands, hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle brands, or agency environments

  • Proven experience independently managing and growing social media accounts — not just scheduling or posting content

  • Strong experience creating content yourself, including:

    • Copywriting

    • Basic graphic design

    • Short-form video editing

    • Content ideation and execution

  • Demonstrated success managing TikTok as a core growth channel, including:

    • Trend utilization

    • Organic engagement growth

    • Short-form content strategy

    • Performance analysis

  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment with minimal structure or oversight

  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and proactively move projects forward

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to switch between multiple brand voices and visual styles

  • Comfortable collaborating directly with founders and operational teams

  • Must be highly responsive during Florida business hours

  • Portfolio required (social accounts, campaigns, content examples, or video work)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or supplements/e-commerce industries.

  • Prior success independently managing content calendars, launches, and influencer projects.

  • Proficiency with standard marketing and social media tools (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, Mailchimp, Canva, Klaviyo).

  • Run basic local paid campaigns (events, promos) on platforms such as Meta and Google Ads; willingness to learn more advanced e-commerce paid media as needed.

  • Comfortable with basic paid advertising and willingness to learn advanced marketing operations.

Important Notes

We are specifically looking for someone who enjoys building and executing in a startup-style environment. The ideal candidate is naturally proactive, action-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership across content creation, engagement, and execution without relying on large internal teams.

Please submit:

  • Resume

  • Portfolio or social handles

  • Examples of content created and managed

  • Short introduction video (requested for shortlisted candidates)
