We are currently searching for a Senior Web Engineer to join us and work as part of an enthusiastic, motivated, and delivery focused agile team. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of our state-of-the-art, in-house developed, ecommerce platform. Our platform runs over 50 websites - including some of the biggest names in Retail. We are an exciting and innovative company, and our Elevation strategy is enabling growth in difficult times. We process millions of pounds worth of transactions every day and will soon be a billion pound a year web business. Our mission is to provide innovative and reliable websites, mobile applications, and platform tools that enable best-in-class Digital Marketing, Trading, UX, Payments, and Fulfilment. You will have the opportunity to develop across the full-stack, and a range of exciting technologies, to help us achieve that mission. You will have experience of the full software development lifecycle, along with an appreciation of quality assurance, continuous integration/delivery, and the benefits of automation. You will have a proven track record of design, development, and testing, of fast, scalable, and architecturally robust solutions. You will be committed to staying up to date with the latest technology and industry trends, continuously looking for ways to apply them for our benefit. You will have significant experience of the following C# / ASP.NET Core MVC / .NET Core JavaScript HTML 5 / CSS Relational and NoSQL databases Microservices architecture It would be great if you also have experience of JavaScript Frameworks: React / Angular / React Native / jQuery Git or similar version control system RESTful Services Elasticsearch Redis Apache Kafka / Azure ESB Event-based architecture and design patterns
