The Practice Production team builds the systems and tools that power how dental practices grow, learn, and perform. We design and deliver the next generation of engagement, diagnostic, and educational experiences that help practices operate at their full potential.

Our mission is to drive Same Store Growth for our partners by providing them with the insights and clinical tools they need to succeed.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer I to join our Practice Production team. You will be responsible for building high-impact products across several key domains:

  • Simulation & Diagnostic Tools: Building the visual and data-driven tools that help dentists diagnose and plan treatments more effectively.

  • Patient Education: Creating interactive experiences that help patients understand their dental health and treatment options.

  • Insights/Hub: Developing the centralized performance dashboard that gives practices actionable data to optimize their growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect & Build: Lead the development of scalable services and rich frontend experiences across our Simulation, Diagnostic, and Insights domains.

  • Drive Growth: Own features directly tied to our North Star Metric (Same Store Growth), ensuring that our tools provide measurable value to dental practices.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with Product, Design, and Clinical experts to translate complex dental workflows into intuitive software.

  • Mentor: Act as a technical leader, leveling up the engineers around you through code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practices.

  • Full-Stack Ownership: Contribute across our stack (TypeScript, React, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL) to deliver end-to-end features.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years (Senior I) of professional software engineering experience.

  • Technical Depth: Strong proficiency in modern full-stack development. Experience with React and Node.js is highly preferred.

  • Product Mindset: You don’t just build to spec; you care about the "why" and are obsessed with how your work impacts practice performance and patient outcomes.

  • Problem Solvers: You are excited by the challenge of building diagnostic and simulation tools that may involve complex data visualization or 3D rendering.
