Job Summary
We’re building a new team focused on modernizing how we approach automated testing, quality, and developer confidence across a diverse portfolio of 20+ SaaS products. We’re looking for software engineers who are excited about writing production-quality test code, improving system reliability, and leveraging AI-powered tools to rethink how test automation is built and maintained.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and evolve automated test solutions across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
Implement and maintain end-to-end test suites using Playwright (or similar modern frameworks).
Partner with product engineers to improve testability, reliability, and confidence in production code.
Help define patterns, tooling, and best practices that can be applied across 20+ products with differing tech stacks.
Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) to accelerate test creation, refactoring, and maintenance.
Reduce flaky tests and improve signal-to-noise in CI pipelines.
Contribute directly to codebases where improving test coverage or testability requires changes to production code.
Help establish the foundation for a test automation and quality engineering team.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Experience building and maintaining production software in a collaborative team environment.
Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., C#, TypeScript, JavaScript).
Comfortable working in large, existing codebases, learning unfamiliar systems, and contributing safely.
Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including unit, integration, and E2E concepts.
Hands-on experience writing automated tests as code (unit and integration tests).
Ability to debug test failures end-to-end across application logic, infrastructure/configuration, and data layers.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with a focus on root-cause analysis and prevention.
Comfortable working in a Shift Left development environment (testing early, fast feedback, quality ownership).
Committed to delivering high-quality, maintainable code with a low defect rate.
Excited to use AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) in daily development.
Willing to experiment with AI-driven approaches to test generation, test refactoring, and coverage analysis.
Basic understanding of AI concepts such as LLMs, RAG, MCP, or a strong desire to learn.
