About the Position
We are looking for someone who can enrich our knowledge and whose HFT or MFT experience we might be missing today that will be crucial for tomorrow. Building upon your experience, you will take the lead in originating ideas, shaping trading strategies and identifying problems that lead to new alpha. You’ll be at the forefront of executing trades, managing risk, and optimizing profitability, while cooperating with the quantitative research team.
Most of our team doesn’t come from TradFi or Crypto. Our quants/traders come from STEM backgrounds (math, theoretical physics, computer science) from top universities (Berkeley, ETH, MIT), and engineers from top tech companies (Google, Facebook, Amazon). There's considerable chance your previous trading experience might result in outsized impact on the company - and bring significant upside for you!
Must-Haves
3+ years of trading experience in HFT or MFT
Deep understanding of probability and statistics, data modelling skills, scientific thinking
Being humble, taking calculated risks, able to articulate ideas clearly
High agency. You care about results, you care about improving things around you, you own things end-to-end.
Able to do quantitative analysis using your preferred tools
Willing to relocate or spend 50% of time in Bratislava

Building regression models
People management experience
Experience with HFT modelling, previous exposure to HFT pipelines

Quant Interview: Video call with our senior Quants focused on problem solving and general cognitive ability.

Compensation
The compensation package consists of four parts: cash, equity, bonuses, and ability to invest into the Wincent fund.
Equity
Skin-in-the game is a big upside if we succeed as a company. Five-year equity grants are part of the total compensation package.
Bonuses
Bonuses are awarded twice a year. They are discretionary and based on individual and company performance.
Fund Investment
Opportunity to invest in the firm’s proprietary fund, established in 2017 and typically reserved for partners and employees, which has built a strong track record over time.
