Full Job Description

Headquarters: Visme URL: http://Visme.co

We re rebuilding Visme and we need a designer who wants to shape what comes next. For the last decade, Visme has helped 34+ million people across 130+ countries turn ideas into beautiful visual content: presentations, documents, infographics, videos, forms, reports, and more. Now we re doing something much bigger. We re evolving Visme from a visual content creator into the business content platform the place where teams plan, produce, govern, and distribute every piece of content their business runs on. Brand-aligned. AI-assisted. Collaborative by default. Measurable. Connected to the systems businesses already use. This isn t a redesign. It s a re-imagination of what the product is, who it s for, and what jobs it gets done. And we re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help lead it. This is not a ship features from a backlog job. If that s what you re looking for, this isn t the right fit. This is a role for someone who wants to reshape a product at the experience level the kind of work where you start with a user s actual job-to-be-done ( help me produce our Q3 board update from scratch, on-brand, with approvals, not add another export button ), then design the whole experience backwards from there. Flows, surfaces, system, AI interactions, interaction patterns, the way the product feels. You ll have real influence on:

The product strategy and what we build next (not just how it looks) The information architecture for a platform that spans dozens of content types The design system as it scales across a much larger surface area How AI shows up inside the product as a collaborator, not a chatbot bolted on The quality bar for the whole company

You will get to make decisions. You will get it wrong sometimes. You will ship.

How we actually work We move fast. Weeks, not quarters. We d rather ship a thin slice, learn, and iterate than spenda month in Figma perfecting something users haven t touched. We re AI-native, not AI-curious. Claude Code, Cowork, Cursor, v0, and whatever tool is best this week are part of our daily workflow for designers, PMs, and engineers alike. If you re already prototyping with AI, generating code from designs, running research synthesis through LLMs, or building your own internal tools, you ll feel at home. If you re not there yet but excited to be, we ll get you there quickly. Autonomy is the default. No layers of approvals. No decks to convince leadership something is worth building. You ll partner directly with PMs, engineers, and founders, own outcomes end-to-end, and be trusted to make the call. We re open to new ideas actually. The best argument wins, not the loudest or the most senior. If you see a better way, propose it. If you want to try something weird, try it. Remote-first, globally distributed. We ve been remote since day one. We optimize for async work, written thinking, and people who get things done without being managed.

What You ll Do:

Own the experience, not just the screens. You ll lead end-to-end design for major parts of the platform research, problem framing, flows, interaction, visual, validation, QA. Start from the job-to-be-done. Before pixels, you ll understand why someone hired Visme and what done looks like for them. You ll turn that into product design, not feature design. Design AI-native experiences. Figure out how generative, agentic, and traditional UI live together. What should be a prompt? What should be a button? What should the product just do on its own? Prototype fast, decide with evidence. Run hypotheses, ship prototypes, talk to users, read metrics. Use AI to go from idea to testable artifact in hours, not weeks. Level up the design system and craft bar. Contribute to (and sometimes rebuild) the components, patterns, and principles the team designs with. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering. No throw-it-over-the-wall handoffs. You ll sit inside the squad, pair with engineers, and often commit to the repo yourself if you want to.

What we're looking for:

5+ years designing B2B/SaaS products where the problem space was ambiguous and the surface area was large. Bonus if you ve worked on content, creation, productivity, or platform products. A portfolio that shows thinking, not just screens. We care more about how you framed the problem and made trade-offs than how polished the final artboard is. Strong systems thinking. You can hold a complex product in your head, see the connections, and design for the whole not just the screen in front of you. A real point of view on AI in products. You ve designed with it, shipped with it, and have opinions about where it helps and where it doesn t. You use AI daily in your own workflow. Speed + judgment. You know when to spend two days on something and when to spend two hours. You don t confuse polish with progress. High ownership in ambiguous environments. You can take help us rethink this and come back a week later with something testable without a detailed spec. Clear written communication in English (B2+). We re async-heavy; writing is how you lead here. Willingness to do a paid take-home exercise and a whiteboard session as part of the process. We want to see how you think.

You d be joining at the inflection point where a product with tens of millions of users decides what it wants to be for the next decade. You ll have unusual leverage, a small and excellent team, and the freedom to use the best tools of 2026 to do work that would ve taken a team of ten just two years ago. If you re the kind of designer who gets frustrated that your tools are slower than your ideas, who wants autonomy more than hierarchy, and who would rather help shape a product s future than decorate its present let s talk. How to apply Send us your portfolio and a short note. In the note, tell us about one product experience you wish you could redesign from scratch, and how you d approach it. That s more useful to us than a cover letter. Visme is an equal opportunity employer. We hire for talent, judgment, and drive not pedigree. We welcome applicants from every background, country, and career path.
