Full Job Description
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
About the role
Snowflake is looking for a Senior PR Manager, focused on Central Europe, to take our public relations program in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland to the next level and support the evolution of communications support for the EMEA business. Success will mean establishing Snowflake as a credible, consistent voice in German-language and regional business and technology media, with positive impact on EMEA-level results.
The role will report directly to the director of EMEA Communications and will lead the local delivery of global PR programmes and the development of local strategies to support continued awareness and business growth in the region. This new position will be a key part of a small but ambitious team, seeking to accelerate awareness, relevance and reputation of Snowflake in these key regional territories.
This role will be responsible for strengthening Snowflake’s reputation and visibility in some of the company’s most strategically important and diverse markets, supporting regional growth priorities while aligning closely with global communications strategy. The role partners with regional and global teams to drive high-impact media engagement, thought leadership and issues management across the region.
EMEA Communications supports Snowflake’s regional growth by building and disseminating creative and locally-relevant narratives that clarify Snowflake’s purpose and value and manage company reputation. In partnership with local stakeholders, this role will lead programmes to cement Snowflake’s positioning as the enterprise-ready data and AI platform in the Central European region.

Drive proactive storytelling around Snowflake’s value and impact, growth, customers, partnerships, and innovation in data, AI and cloud technologies
Partner with regional marketing, sales and field leadership to align PR efforts with business priorities and go-to-market initiatives
Manage local and regional announcements, including thought leadership programmes, executive appointments, customer stories, partner news, and market milestones
Work alongside the global public relations team on EMEA coordination and delivery of flagship corporate-led programmes
Track regional media coverage, sentiment and emerging issues to inform strategy and executive counsel

8+ years of experience in public relations, ideally within enterprise technology, SaaS, or B2B environments
Deep understanding of the media landscape in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and preferably in some Eastern European markets

Strong writing and messaging skills, with the ability to translate complex technology and AI topics into clear and credible narratives that will resonate effectively with target audiences
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across cultures, languages, and time zones
Proven experience supporting senior business leaders in high-profile media engagements and complex news environments
Exceptional project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Experience managing issues, crises and sensitive topics across multiple countries and regulatory environments
