Job Summary
The Senior Full Stack Developer plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software systems that support core product functionality. This role has a strong back-end focus, requiring deep expertise in building robust APIs, data models, and services while also contributing to user-facing features when needed. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a solid understanding of modern web architectures, cloud-based environments, and best practices in performance, security, and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to translate product and business requirements into reliable, user-friendly technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Own integrations end to end, from loosely defined requirements through design, implementation, delivery, and iteration.
Translate high-level goals into clear execution plans, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and outcomes.
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs in Java (Spring), contributing to frontend work (React) when needed.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate delivery while maintaining high code quality.
Ensure reliability and maintainability through strong ownership of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and clean, well-documented systems.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend and system design focus, particularly in APIs and integrations, using Java and Spring in production environments.
Solid working knowledge of React, modern JavaScript, and PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases, including data modeling, performance, and secure data access.
Deep understanding of API design and integration best practices, including contracts, versioning, and reliable communication across internal and external systems.
High level of autonomy and ownership, comfortable operating in fast-paced startup environments with evolving requirements and minimal process.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
