About the Role:

We are seeking a highly collaborative, AI-forward Senior Digital Designer to spearhead design initiatives for Hims & Hers Organic Growth. In this role, you will partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Brand to craft conversion-driven customer experiences across major campaign launches, category storytelling, subscriber touchpoints, and scalable web systems. You thrive in high-velocity environments without sacrificing craft, bringing clarity and elegance to complex, multi-touchpoint programs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ego-free, and continuously looks to improve, ideate, and refine design standards.

This hands-on position requires a designer with exceptional visual and communication instincts, sharp end-to-end storytelling skills, and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to execution. You should feel comfortable flexing between broader strategic thinking and tactical execution while building, maintaining, and contributing to design systems. In a fast-paced, startup-like environment, you’re adept at tackling the full process—from defining problems and ideating concepts to synthesizing data into solutions that translate complexity into focused designs and prototypes.

You Will:

  • Lead Design: Own high-impact customer-facing experiences across our top-of-funnel web ecosystem, including campaign pages, product launches, promotional programs, and subscriber touchpoints. You will lead projects from brief through delivery and produce flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that raise the quality bar across every surface.

  • Innovate and Inspire: Push the boundaries of the Hims & Hers experience. Your work will not just solve problems but will elevate the standard of care by introducing elegant, empathetic, and human-centered solutions.

  • Work the System and Know When to Break It: You are as comfortable iterating within an established design ecosystem as you are : something from scratch. You move fast, ask the right questions early, and know how to make smart decisions about where to invest creative energy on any given project.

  • Champion the User: Advocate for our users by deeply understanding their needs, challenges, and behaviors. Through research, testing, and iteration, you will ensure that our products are not only easy to use but a joy to interact with. You will participate in customer research and apply those insights into experiences that are both innovative and performant.

  • Be a Strategic Partner: You’ll partner with Design, Product Managers, Research, and Engineering to navigate complex problems, and together you will drive projects from start to finish. By developing a deep product expertise, you will become a trusted partner to stakeholders, while ensuring that everyone impacted by your work is aligned throughout. Guide, inspire, and influence peers and team with exceptional communication, empathy and execution.

  • Accelerate with AI: You are not waiting to see how AI changes design because you are already using it. You actively leverage tools like Figma MCP, generative image tools, and AI-assisted prototyping to accelerate ideation, sharpen storytelling, and close the gap between concept and execution.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in a Product Design role leading design alongside your cross-functional peers in Product, Engineering and Research

  • You have a holistic approach to design, from high-level strategy to small design details

  • You’re a self-starter who is solution-oriented, and you’re comfortable with defining, scoping, and designing for new opportunities with and without the input of others

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present your decisions and processes clearly and confidently

  • Enthusiasm for growth and improvement, openness to feedback, and ability to work well with other designers of all levels

  • Adaptability and excitement for working in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced design expertise, elevating the overall quality across the team by showcasing exceptional craft in typography, layout, interactive design, and complex logic and systems

  • Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and prototyping tools, paired with the active, practical integration of AI-powered tools into your day-to-day design workflow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A foundational understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Previous experience designing for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), subscription, or digital membership products

  • Proven experience designing for experimentation, user testing, and A/B testing frameworks
