The Opportunity...
We’re looking for a full-time data expert to own our data pipelines, warehouse, reporting, and analytics. This person will be responsible for building a reliable data foundation and turning raw data into clear, actionable insights that support decisions across marketing, operations, and finance.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who is comfortable working end-to-end, from ingestion and modeling to BigQuery performance and stakeholder-facing reporting.

How You'll Contribute...

  • Build and maintain data pipelines from MySQL and external sources into BigQuery

  • Own CDC ingestion using Google Cloud Datastream and API or batch ingestion with dlt

  • Design and manage BigQuery tables with proper partitioning and clustering to ensure performant, cost efficient queries

  • Build and maintain transformations and analytics models in dbt using staging, intermediate, and mart layers

  • Orchestrate scheduled and incremental pipelines using Dagster

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports used by marketing, operations, and finance

  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business questions into data insights

  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across the analytics stack

  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis with trusted data


What We're Looking For...

  • 5 or more years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence

  • Strong SQL and Python skills

  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, including query optimization, partitioning, and clustering

  • Experience working with modern data stacks, including dbt and an orchestration tool such as Dagster or Airflow

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, incremental processing, and ETL best practices

  • Ability to clearly explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable owning systems independently in a remote environment

Bonus Points…

  • Experience with performance or marketing analytics

  • Familiarity with attribution modeling or predictive analytics

  • Experience working with CDC pipelines and large append-only datasets

  • Exposure to Elasticsearch or evaluating migrations to analytics engines such as ClickHouse

  • Prior experience in high-growth or data-driven environments
