This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a new, centralized governance function from the ground up. We are looking for a highly organized and process-driven professional to become the central hub for our global compliance program's core operations.

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Associate, Governance and Training to support establishing and managing our centralized compliance governance processes. This is a hybrid role with global exposure, perfect for someone who excels at process management, stakeholder coordination, and bringing structure to a fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Global Training Manager and work across the entire compliance department to manage the policy lifecycle, coordinate the global training program, and support key governance meetings and activities. Your mission is to bring consistency, transparency, and operational excellence to our compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance Training Program Support

  • Partner with the Global Training Manager to manage the logistics and execution of the global compliance training program.

  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning courses, tracking completion rates, and generating management reports.

  • Maintain the global training calendar, coordinate session scheduling, send invites, and maintain accurate attendance records.

  • Gather and collate feedback on training sessions to support program enhancements.

  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Data Privacy teams to ensure training content aligns with company policies, employment regulations, and data protection standards.

2. Policy & Procedure Lifecycle Management

  • Own and maintain the central inventory for all global and regional compliance policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Manage the end-to-end policy lifecycle: track review dates, coordinate with policy owners, manage the review and approval workflow, and ensure timely publication.

  • Act as the primary owner and manager for the Knowledge Base, ensuring all information and documentation is current, version-controlled, and easily accessible.

  • Support cross-functional policy harmonization, identifying overlaps, gaps, or inconsistencies between related documents.

  • Partner with Corporate Communications to support clear and consistent policy messaging across the organization.

3. Centralized Governance & Administration

  • Provide governance and administrative support for key global and regional compliance meetings.

  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, professionally capture minutes, and meticulously track all action items through to completion.

  • Support the regulatory change management process by maintaining a central tracker of regulatory updates.

  • Assist in responding to external due diligence requests from banking partners and vendors by gathering and providing standardized compliance documentation.

  • Support the preparation of compliance reports and dashboards for management and Board-level presentations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a compliance, risk, governance, legal operations, or program management role.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and disciplined attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple processes, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively across different functions and regions.

  • A proactive, "take-ownership" mindset and the ability to operate independently with minimum supervision.

  • Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • Experience in a global fintech, payments, or technology company.

  • Experience with content or knowledge management systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).

  • Experience in administering or using a Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Experience with policy lifecycle management tools or software.

  • A passion for process improvement, automation, and building scalable solutions.

  • Foundational compliance or AML/CTF certifications (e.g., ICA Certificate, CAMS).
