The Role:

DailyPay is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Data Team! The Senior Data Analyst will utilize various types of data to draw insights and build strategic recommendations to drive business value for the company, while working collaboratively to empower internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success. This position will also enable client success through supporting the development of customer-facing data products and analytics.

The mission of the Data Team is critical for continuous development and success of our product, understanding the needs of our customers and partners, and maintaining DailyPay’s leading role in the early wage access industry -- and the Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in helping to realize this vision for DailyPay.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead Advanced Analytics Initiatives: Take ownership of complex analytics projects, proactively identifying opportunities to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic business outcomes.

  • Translate Data into Strategic Recommendations: You'll go beyond reporting, providing in-depth analysis and clear, data-driven recommendations to influence key business decisions.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs, define requirements, and deliver impactful analytics solutions.

  • Mentoring and leadership: Guide the training and development of the analytics team’s strategic problem solving skill set

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 4+ years SQL experience; strong SQL capability

  • 4+ years Analytics and/or Data Science experience

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data analysis tools and libraries

  • Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms or predictive modeling techniques

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to stakeholders

  • Ability to influence decision-making with data-driven insights, providing actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Strategic, creative thinker will be highly valued for this role
