Your mission

As a Software/AI Engineer in our Applied Sciences team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications. You'll be developing and optimizing LLMs, as well as building user-facing features for our suite of AI products. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, efficient, and reliable solutions that empower UiPath users to bring their automation ideas to life.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Working understanding of LLMs and common patterns/techniques: prompt engineering, in-context learning, RAG, etcWorking understanding of LLMs and common patterns/techniques: prompt engineering, in-context learning, RAG, etc

  • Build and maintain full-stack components for various AI products using Python, or C#, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

  • Design and develop intuitive human-computer interfaces that make machine learning models accessible to all users.

  • Conduct regular benchmarks, perform statistical analysis, and present findings to drive data-informed decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new features and improvements to our AI platforms.

  • Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation practices within the team.

What you'll bring to the team

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns.

  • Experience with full-stack development and at least one high-level programming language (C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.).

  • Knowledge of basic data structures, algorithms, and their associated time/memory complexities.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience working as a software engineer on AI products.

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and natural language processing.

  • Understanding of multithreading, synchronization, and asynchronous programming.
