Full Job Description
At Webflow, we’re building the world’s leading AI-native Digital Experience Platform, and we’re doing it as a remote-first company built on trust, transparency, and a whole lot of creativity. This work takes grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality. Our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. From entrepreneurs launching their first idea to global enterprises scaling their digital presence, we empower teams to design, launch, and optimize for the web without barriers. We believe the future of the web, and work, is more open, more creative, and more equitable. And we’re here to build it together.
We’re looking for a Senior Agentic Engineer to operate as an embedded technical partner within the Engineering, Product & Design org. This role will help shape the internal AI infrastructure and operational workflows that help EPD teams run more efficiently. Your work will span prototyping and experimentation to integration and automation in core operational processes. You will also design, implement, and scale key initiatives on our internal AI tooling roadmap, from automating program operations like beta recruitment and launch readiness to building and maintaining our internal skills and agent library.
If you’re a builder at heart – someone who codes, thinks in APIs, and prototypes with Agents while understanding the realities of software development – this role is for you.
About the role:
- Location: Remote-first (Argentina)
- Full-time
- Permanent, full-time employee (this is not a contractor position)
- Application Information:
- Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled
- This posting is for a new position
- Reporting to the Director of EPD Operations
As a Senior Agentic Engineer you'll...
- Build Agents and Automations for EPDI Operations: Design, build, and ship AI-powered agents and workflows that automate core operational processes across Engineering, Product, Design, and Insights, from beta recruitment and launch readiness to resource tracking and program reporting.
- Own the Internal Skills and Agent Library: Build and maintain a curated library of reusable AI skills and agents that EPDI teams can leverage out of the box, ensuring quality, discoverability, and consistent patterns across the org.
- Translate Operational Pain Points Into AI Workflows: Partner with EPD leaders and program teams to identify high-friction manual processes and turn them into reliable, AI-backed automations that balance usability, scalability, and business impact.
- Own Full-Stack AI Builds End to End: From prototyping with APIs and webhooks to deploying internal services and integrations, own the full build cycle, connecting AI platforms to internal tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, and internal data sources.
- Document and Enable Adoption: Create clear documentation, guides, and demos that help both technical and non-technical teammates adopt, trust, and troubleshoot the tools you build.
- Run Applied AI Experiments: Lead hands-on R&D with context engineering, RAG architectures, and emerging agent frameworks to find high-leverage solutions to operational challenges.
- Drive Responsible AI Practices: Track usage, flag risks, and support responsible evaluation as AI becomes embedded deeper into how EPDI operates.
About you:
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Business-level fluency to read, write and speak in English
You’ll thrive as a Senior Agentic Engineer if you:
- 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, internal tooling, or a technical program/operations role where you were the person building the systems, not just specifying them.
- Deep AI and agent fluency: You're fluent in LLMs, their APIs, vector databases, context engineering, and RAG, and you know how to combine them into reliable agents and workflows. You have a growing personal toolkit of skills, agents, and automation patterns you bring to every problem.
- Turn operational problems into working software: You can take a messy, manual process (beta recruitment, resource tracking, program reporting) and turn it into a reliable, automated workflow. You bridge the gap between "this is painful" and "this runs itself now."
- Code and connect systems confidently: You design with and around APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms, and you're comfortable wiring together tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, and internal data sources.
- Understand how EPD orgs actually operate: You've worked close enough to engineering, product, or design teams to understand their rhythms: planning cycles, launch processes, cross-team dependencies, and where operational friction lives.
- Balance speed with reliability: You're highly self-directed and build responsibly, shipping fast without cutting corners on access control, data integrity, or maintainability.
- Communicate across technical and non-technical audiences: You can demo a tool to a VP, write documentation a PM can follow, and debug an integration with an engineer, all in the same day.
- Have the receipts: You can point to internal tools, agents, or automation frameworks you've built that solved real operational problems and got adopted by real teams.
- Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.
