Role Description This role involves producing data-backed insights, forecasts, and coverage reports for institutional investors, blending traditional equity research with automation and AI-driven analytics. Lead sector coverage by monitoring companies, market trends, and industry developments. Develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts. Prepare and publish research notes, coverage reports, and earnings summaries for institutional clients. Collaborate with data teams to integrate automation, AI tools, and quantitative signals into research workflows. Present findings and insights to senior analysts, clients, and internal teams. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in sell-side equity research, covering a specific sector (e.g., tech, industrials, healthcare, etc.). Proficiency in Excel modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis. Strong writing, presentation, and client communication skills. Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, and exposure to data visualization or automation tools. Quantitative mindset able to blend traditional analysis with structured data insights. Degree in Finance, Economics, or STEM preferred; CFA or progress toward it a plus.
