Snowflake, one of the most iconic and fast growing technology companies, is seeking a data-driven and strategically minded Solution Engineering (SE) Strategy & Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone for SE leadership across APJ. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. You will be responsible for everything from fiscal year territory planning and headcount management to supporting forecasting exercises and organizational performance.
The ideal candidate is one who can navigate complex challenges, effectively navigate CRM and planning tools, and is a proactive partner who uncovers the "why" behind the numbers to drive the business forward.
As a SE Strategy & Operations Manager at Snowflake, you will be expected to take on the following responsibilities:
Strategic Fiscal Planning: Support the annual planning process for assigned regions, headcount forecasting, organizational structure design, territory alignment, and compensation/quota setting.
Forecasting & Performance Analysis: Collaborate with SE leadership to develop accurate forecasts and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team hits strategic targets and milestones.
Operational Execution: Manage all in-year requirements, including position management, OTB/Split requests, and the seamless onboarding of new hires and transfers into the compensation plan.
Business Insights & Reporting: Utilize BI/data tools (e.g., Salesforce, Sigma, Snowflake) to proactively inspect the business, delivering data-driven insights and materials for regular business reviews.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a strategic partner to SE leadership and Sales Operations, ensuring the SE organization’s efforts are unified with Sales/GTM objectives.
Data & Tool Governance: Enforce strict Salesforce data hygiene and drive the adoption of key CRM/productivity tools to ensure reliable reporting and process efficiency.
Program & Process Management: Define and maintain regional operational standards, ranging from new product launch initiatives to standardized communication frameworks for the theater.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree is required
4+ years of experience working in GTM Operations, specifically supporting technical or field organizations
Demonstrable history of using data-driven insights to influence and improve SE productivity and GTM strategies
Strong organizational skills with experience creating executive-ready presentations and analyses for regular business reviews.
Advanced proficiency with CRM, Planning and Forecasting platforms
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership (RVPs/VPs) and act as a neutral mediator in resolving operational disputes or escalations.
High proficiency in writing, editing, and oral communication skills
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
