We are seeking a foundational hire to architect the systems that will power teams across Profound as we scale globally.

As a Salesforce Architect, you will be the technical expertise behind our revenue engine. You understand that a GTM stack is a complex ecosystem that requires enterprise grade infrastructure. You will design, build, and optimize the Salesforce and adjacent software infrastructure that supports our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams, ensuring the robustness of our data architecture can accelerate Profound’s hyper-growth.

This is a high-agency role where you will define technical standards, influence long-term architecture, and deploy AI-driven workflows that create leverage across the organization.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the technical lead for Salesforce, building complex Apex, Lightning Web Components, and advanced Flow architectures beyond standard administration

  • Design and own the long-term technical roadmap for the GTM stack, ensuring Salesforce, CPQ, enrichment tools, and adjacent systems operate as a scalable ecosystem

  • Experiment with and deploy AI-driven systems such as autonomous prospecting agents, automated deal intelligence, and agentic forecasting

  • Partner with Marketing, Data Science, Product, and Finance to ensure the GTM data model supports advanced attribution, forecasting, and lifecycle reporting

  • Establish best-practice engineering standards for the GTM stack including sandbox management, version control, governance, and documentation

  • Use SQL and lightweight scripting to analyze system performance and improve automation

  • Anticipate how architectural decisions will impact the business six to twelve months ahead

Who you are

  • 5 or more years of experience in sales systems, revenue operations, or business systems roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies

  • Expert-level Salesforce knowledge with strong experience in Apex, Lightning, and complex automation design

  • Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript

  • Comfortable working with AI-native tools and leveraging language models to manage infrastructure, analyze systems, and build automation

  • Strategic thinker who understands how to apply AI and agentic workflows to create measurable business leverage

  • Systems-level operator who balances technical depth with long-term business impact

  • Motivated by building infrastructure that supports rapid, global scale

Location

This is an on-site role based in our NYC or London office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $130,000 to $165,000 (NYC). Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks.
