About the role
We’re hiring a Sales Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our sales team.
You will take over management of the team immediately and be responsible for performance, pipeline, and deal execution during a critical phase of the company.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be deeply involved in deals, coaching reps, and driving outcomes. You’ll work directly with the founders while we continue building out the broader sales leadership team.
What you will do
Own the performance of a team of Account Executives
Run weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy sessions
Coach AEs on live deals with specific, tactical guidance
Join and help close strategic deals when needed
Ramp new AEs and SDRs transitioning into AE roles
Maintain high standards for CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy
Run forecast calls and ensure visibility into revenue
Track conversion rates, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy
Support hiring by screening and interviewing AE candidates
What we're looking for
Must-have
Proven track record as a top-performing AE
Strong desire to stay close to deals and close yourself
At least 2+ years managing a team of 5+ AEs
Full-cycle B2B sales experience
Experience managin Mid-market deals ($30K+ ACV)
Nice to have
Experience selling to CFOs, Controllers, or finance teams
Background in finance
Experience in verticals like Healthcare, Construction, F&B, or Real Estate
Experience at a high-growth startup
Not a fit if
Your background is primarily SDR management
You can’t clearly articulate your own AE performance
You’ve only managed 1–2 people
You haven’t scaled a team before
You’ve been out of a closing role for 5+ years
