What You’ll Do
Accurately and safely fill prescriptions in accordance with established workflows and SOPs.
Provide patient counselling on new therapies, ensuring understanding and confidence in medication use.
Support adherence monitoring and ongoing medication consultations as needed.Maintain and update patient profiles in compliance with privacy legislation and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable standards set by NAPRA and the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
Provide relief coverage for scheduled absences, peak volumes, or short-notice needs.
Weekend availability is considered a strong asset.
What We’re Looking For
Licensing: Part A licensed pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, in good standing.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience; mail-order or high-volume environments preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Kroll and pharmacy-related IT systems.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to accuracy in prescription preparation, labelling, and documentation.
Adaptable & Reliable: Comfortable stepping into coverage as needed and working independently when required.
Strong Communicator: Clear verbal and written communication skills with patients and internal teams.
