- Manually support the testing of new features across iOS, Android, and Web, including regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing
- Execute sanity checks on Duolingo release and branch builds, and help validate bug fixes before and after deployment
- Write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports, and collaborate with engineers and teammates to help diagnose issues
- Learn Duolingo products deeply and ask thoughtful questions about expected behavior, edge cases, and learner experience
- Identify potential quality issues and raise risks with guidance from more senior QA teammates
- Help prioritize testing tasks within your assigned projects, focusing on areas with high learner impact
- Advocate for Duolingo learners by evaluating features for correctness, clarity, and usability
- Follow and contribute to existing QA processes, documentation, and procedures, while learning how quality scales across teams
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams, communicating progress, questions, and blockers clearly in a fast-paced environment

We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.
This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
Salary Range:
$68,000—$78,000 USD
