About the Role
Dandy is looking for a Production Supervisor to be a founding leader of our brand-new Indianapolis facility. This is a unique opportunity to help launch and scale a state-of-the-art manufacturing site from the ground up. You will oversee shift workflows, equipment, and a team of 40+ technicians, playing a pivotal role in establishing our "four corner" operational model and building a high-performance culture from day one.
Onboarding & Travel Requirements
Initial Training: This role requires up to 30% travel during the first 1–2 months of employment for immersive onboarding and leadership training.
Location: Training will take place at our established manufacturing hubs in Provo, Utah or Dallas, Texas.
Purpose: You will master Dandy’s proprietary workflows and quality standards firsthand to successfully lead the "lift and shift" of those operations to the Indy facility.
What You’ll Do
Site Launch & Scaling: Lead the initial stand-up of shift operations; assist in the physical organization of departments and the implementation of standard work.
Build Culture: Establish and champion Dandy’s culture and safety standards among the founding Indy team members.
Supervise: Lead, scale, and continuously train a team of 40+ technicians; manage performance, coaching, and the hiring ramp-up.
Process Refinement: Proactively identify and solve "launch-phase" bottlenecks in people, process, and technology.
Administrative Tasks: Execute case flow tracking and delinquency reporting while ensuring interdepartmental communication remains seamless during the site ramp.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
3+ years in Manufacturing; 2+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in a facility launch or rapid-scaling environment.
Strong leadership characteristics with a "builder" mentality and a sense of urgency.
Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen.
Track record of improving safety, quality, and productivity within a manufacturing environment
Comfortable using manufacturing systems to monitor performance, track production, and drive decision-making
