About the Company

Why We Built Lyric: Supply chains are more critical and complex than ever. Every day, large enterprises navigate trillions of possible decisions that could impact the bottom line. Powerful algorithms and AI can address these problems, yet most organizations struggle to leverage supply chain AI at scale. The current SCM technologies are either rigid, limited-scope point solutions or custom solutions built in-house, which demand immense expertise and investment.

That is…until now.

Enter Lyric: Lyric is an enterprise AI platform built specifically for supply chains, offering the best of both worlds:

  • Out-of-the-box AI solutions for optimizing networks, allocating inventory, scheduling routes, planning fulfillment capacity, promising orders, propagating demand, building predictions, analyzing scenarios, and more, plus

  • A platform-first approach that empowers both business and technical users with end-to-end product composability, leveraging no-code tools, their own code, or even forking our code to build and refine supply chain decision intelligence

With Lyric, enterprises no longer have to choose between flexibility and speed, they get both.

The Mission: We’re building a new era in supply chain with the team best equipped to lead it. With over 20 years at the intersection of supply chain and algorithms, we developed a deep conviction that global supply chains needed something like Lyric. Since our inception in December 2021, that conviction has been validated time and time again.

Today, a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, Nike, and more, are innovating on their own terms with Lyric. We can’t wait to see what our customers, both current and future, are empowered to build with us next. Come build with us!

Role Overview

We're hiring a Product Manager — Course Academy to own the product vision, roadmap and operations for Lyric's Course Academy — including the end-to-end design, launch and management of certification programs. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of supply-chain, instructional design, assessment/certification design, and product delivery. The right candidate will be deeply passionate about learning, energized by simplifying complex workflows into teachable experiences, and a cultural fit for Lyric's collaborative, and ownership driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Roadmap

  • Own Course Academy's product vision, roadmap and prioritization in close alignment with Product, Customer Success, Sales and GTM priorities.

  • Define persona-based learning journeys and map progressive skill levels (beginner → advanced → certified).

Certification Program Ownership

  • Design, operate and own Course Academy certification tracks:

    • Define competencies, assessment blueprints and pass/fail criteria.

    • Design course evaluation pointers.

Learning Design & Quality

  • Translate Lyric features and ways of working into modular, micro-learning video content, labs, and capstone assessments.

  • Set and enforce pedagogy, scripting, visual and assessment quality standards.

  • Ensure content is scaffolded, measurable and tied to clear learning outcomes.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Partner daily with Training Content Developers, Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Sales Enablement to build relevant, timely content.

  • Drive stakeholder alignment on scope, launch plans and success metrics.

Measurement & Iteration

  • Define and own KPIs: enrolments, completion rates, certification pass rates, time-to-competency, and impact on feature adoption/support load.

  • Use analytics and user feedback to iterate rapidly on content and certification design.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in product management.

  • Ability to translate workflows into teachable modules.

  • Product or program management experience; experience with learning products, training programs or certification operations strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience designing assessments and certification frameworks (learning objectives → assessments → pass criteria).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation, systems thinking and stakeholder management skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of measuring product/learning impact.

  • Lyric values — Problem Solver, Ownership, Authentic Optimism and Compassionate Candour.

Preferred

  • Supply Chain domain knowledge.

  • Experience in instructional design, micro-learning, or video learning formats.

  • Experience in SaaS/enterprise software or training programs or certification courses.

Cultural Fit — Why You'll Thrive at Lyric

Lyric values people who bring strong domain judgment AND a learner's mindset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Enthusiasm & Passion for Learning. You genuinely love helping people learn, get excited about building learning journeys, and take joy in seeing learners level up.

  • Customer Empathy. You obsess over real user problems and design learning experiences that reduce friction and unlock value. You believe in enablement over handholding.

  • Ownership & Bias for Action. You take initiative, ship quickly, and iterate based on evidence.

  • Collaborative Humility. You partner closely across functions, welcome feedback, and lift others.

What Success Looks Like

  • A clear, prioritized Course Academy roadmap aligned to product releases and customer pain points.

  • Certification tracks designed, launched and operational with strong enrollment & pass metrics.

  • Measurable reduction in product support for certified workflows and demonstrable uplift in feature adoption among certified users.

  • Course Academy recognized internally as the authoritative channel for Lyric learning and externally as a valuable credential for supply-chain practitioners.
