Full Job Description

Overview

Own the AI and integrations product surface across the full Compliance Connectivity Platform (CCP) — Ad Review, 4U Distribution, and Supervision. Set direction for how AI capabilities and third-party connectivity create a durable competitive advantage in a regulated market. Challenge engineering architects on logic and constraints; translate eval results and model tradeoffs into executable roadmap decisions.

Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the AI roadmap end-to-end across all three CCP products — discovery through delivery.

  • Prioritize AI opportunities on client impact, regulatory defensibility, and business value.

  • Design human-in-the-loop workflows that satisfy FINRA/SEC auditability requirements by design.

  • Form clear build, buy and partner positions through hands-on experimentation, not vendor marketing.

AI Evaluation & Data Readiness

  • Own eval strategy for non-deterministic systems: define quality rubrics, track accuracy and drift.

  • Identify data readiness gaps before AI features ship; close them in partnership with Engineering.

  • Prototype with LLMs hands-on to develop informed intuitions before writing a PRD.

Integration Strategy

  • Define and prioritize integrations across the client systems that may include: CRM, CMS, DAM, sales enablement, etc.

  • Set integration strategy with Engineering — command API design, event patterns, and failure modes.

Discovery, GTM & Regulatory

  • Run ongoing discovery with compliance officers, advisors, and tech buyers; produce crisp PRDs and executive narratives.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to position capabilities competitively; support enterprise deals.

  • Navigate SEC and FINRA requirements; ensure AI features meet compliance standards from day one.

Competencies

Required

  • 7+ years PM experience; 3+ years shipping AI/ML-powered products in B2B enterprise SaaS.

  • Hands-on AI experimentation track record: prototyped with LLMs, ran evals, built intuitions through direct testing — not demos.

  • Strong eval strategy command for non-deterministic systems — define quality, measure it, improve it.

  • Fluency in API and integration concepts: substantive technical conversations on data flow, failure modes, and tradeoffs.

  • Demonstrated adoption impact: before-and-after stories that include both wins and lessons.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication — clear PRDs, executive briefs, confident C-suite presentation.

  • PE-backed accountability: roadmap commitments are real.

  • Managing one or more junior product managers to execute.

Preferred

  • Compliance, Supervision, or RegTech product background.

  • Financial services, fintech, or wealth management experience.

  • Agentic AI workflow or multi-step AI orchestration experience.

  • Integration platform experience (n8n, Workato, Tray.io) or public API management.

  • CRM (Salesforce), CMS, DAM, or data warehouse integration background.

  • Enterprise AI sales cycles including security reviews and vendor risk assessments.

Work Structure

Red Oak values the energy and creativity that comes from working together in person. To support this cultural element, this hybrid role is based out of our north Austin HQ with a minimum of 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) in the office each week.
