Overview
Harper’s growth engine runs on speed, precision, and automation. As our Performance Marketer, you’ll own the digital channels that feed our sales floor — and you’ll be accountable for turning spend into revenue.
This is not a brand role. This is a numbers, systems, and scale role. You’ll manage paid acquisition across Google, Meta, and lead-bidding marketplaces, while working closely with sales and engineering to optimize the full funnel from click to bind.
Compensation: ~$150K base + equity
The Role
You will own Harper’s paid growth machine end-to-end. From channel strategy and experimentation to funnel optimization and automation, your job is simple: drive qualified demand efficiently and at scale.
You’ll sit alongside sales and engineers, see how leads convert in real time, and continuously refine campaigns based on what actually closes.
What You’ll Do
Own Paid Acquisition
Manage and scale campaigns across Google, Meta, and lead bidding marketplaces
Develop vertical-specific acquisition strategies for construction, med spas, manufacturing, and new segments
Control budget allocation with a focus on CAC, conversion, and throughput
Optimize the Full Funnel
Work on landing pages, messaging, and conversion flows
Track performance from click → quote → bind
Partner with sales to understand lead quality and adjust targeting in real time
Experiment Relentlessly
Launch A/B tests across ads, creatives, audiences, and landing pages
Identify scalable channels and kill underperformers quickly
Build playbooks for new vertical launches
Automate Everything
Work with engineering to automate bidding, pacing, attribution, and reporting
Use AI tools to generate and test creative at scale
Build systems that allow performance marketing to run continuously and efficiently

Core Requirements
5+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid acquisition, or growth marketing roles
Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns with meaningful budgets
Experience running and optimizing lead-based acquisition funnels, ideally for B2B, SMB, or high-consideration products
Strong understanding of CAC, conversion rates, attribution, and funnel economics
Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics / GA4), conversion tracking, pixels, and UTM frameworks
Ability to run structured experiments across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and channels
Comfort owning performance outcomes tied to pipeline and revenue, not just impressions or clicks
Highly analytical mindset with strong spreadsheet skills and the ability to turn data into decisions
Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco and collaborate closely with sales and engineering
Nice to Have
Experience with lead bidding marketplaces or third-party lead sources
Familiarity with tracking systems and closed-loop attribution
Experience supporting multi-vertical acquisition strategies
Exposure to automation, scripting, or AI tools for creative generation or campaign optimization
Prior startup or high-growth company experience
