The People & Talent Internship.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student or recent graduate to participate in the People & Talent Internship at Reality Defender. This part-time role offers hands-on experience across recruiting, HR operations, and talent programs in a fast-growing technology company.
You will gain exposure to full-cycle recruiting, candidate experience, HR systems, onboarding, and talent operations at a scaling startup. Responsibilities include:
Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
Help ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and support throughout the hiring process
Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing onboarding materials and coordinating new hire logistics
Maintain and organize HR documentation, employee records, and internal systems
Support People Operations initiatives such as employee engagement programs, training coordination, and internal communications
Assist with reporting and tracking recruiting metrics and hiring progress
Who you are.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Interest in HR, recruiting, and talent operations
This internship requires a time commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
