Overview:
The People Relations Partner provides consistent, fair and compliant support to HR Business Partners, managers and team members in resolving employee relations matters. The role focuses on managing day-to-day team member relations issues, supporting disciplinary processes, supporting disciplinary processes, assisting with investigations, and co-ordinating offboarding activities in accordance with company policy and applicable laws and regulations. The People Relations Partner partners closely with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure team member issues are addressed respectfully, accurately and timely, escalating complex or high-risk matters as appropriate. The role plays a key part in delivering a positive and compliant employee experience while supporting managers through people-related challenges.
What You'll Do
Provide consistent, practical people relations support to managers and team members to address day-to-day employee relations issues including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or performance concerns, in adherence with all local, state, federal and international laws and regulations.
Support the management of terminations for all work types, including coordinating documentation, workflows and required approvals, escalating to and supporting Senior People Relations Partners with complex cases as required.
Assist with the offboarding process to include but not limited to initiating workflows, preparing documentation and ensuring the required steps are completed accurately and on time for all termination types and for all worker types.
Support investigations into team member issues to ensure they are resolved in adherence to all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations and manage resolution
Liaise directly with Legal, People Operations, HR Experience, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and People Success to support processing, administering, facilitating, and otherwise delivering compliant conflict resolution and terminations.
Analyze employee relations data and case trends to help identify recurring team member relations trends and flag opportunities for process improvement or manager education.
Liaise directly with Legal, People Operations, HR Experience, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and People Success to build processes to support processing, administering, facilitating, and otherwise delivering compliant conflict resolution and terminations.
Support the creation, maintenance and use of standard operating procedures for investigations to include conducting fair, neutral, and timely investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures and federal/state/international laws and regulations.
Partner with People Success to support the provision of guidance and training to managers in handling of team member relations matters to include but not limited to company policy interpretation, ability to handle team member conflict resolutions, manage disciplinary actions and compliant termination guidance.
What You'll Need
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in team member relations, with exposure to investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations.
Working knowledge of employment law principles and HR best practices with the ability to apply guidance under supervision and escalate when appropriate.

Ability to support sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state and local regulations and/or violations of company policies and procedures
Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to upskill and train on technology and functional aspects of case management systems, HRIS, compliance tools, etc.

Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Proficiency in Google Suite required
Working knowledge of employment law, specifically regarding team member conduct and terminations in APAC regions such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Japan etc or other countries with ability to learn and leverage internal knowledge bases to facilitate compliant investigations and terminations
Ability to travel internationally for offsites and events.
Strong desire and preference to work in a fully remote, global environment and not in an office.
