Hi! I’m Hannah and I lead People Operations here at Ashby. I joined over four years ago as the first People hire and I’m excited that our People Ops team is growing! The People Operations team supports Ashby employees through the development and implementation of programs, policies, and services that contribute to a productive and inclusive working environment. We ensure the work we do aligns with our Operating Principles and strengthens the environment we’re building at Ashby. Our approach is to do things differently — we prioritize what truly fits our team and enhances how we work together. About the Role:
As a People Operations Coordinator at Ashby, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all of our employees have the best possible experience working here. You will work closely with our People Operations team focusing on the day-to-day execution of various operations and tasks ranging from data entry, process creation and event booking. You’ll be involved in Onboarding, Offsites and Organizational updates.
What you'll do at Ashby:
Provide operational support and maintain accurate employee data and files across all systems in accordance with state and federal laws
Provide administrative support to Ashby’s people processes, including but not limited to new hire onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, etc.
Assist with planning and coordination of Ashby culture events, both virtual and in-person
Document people process changes as needed
Maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion in the handling of sensitive information
Building out people process workflows in Ashby to continuously improve our business effectiveness

Are detail-oriented, especially when it comes to data quality
Work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Are team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to solving problems
Recognize that Sensitive/confidential information must be handled compliantly
Have experience with the use of HRIS, like Gusto, ADP, Deel
Bonus points if you:
Have experience working in a Human Resources function
Have qualifications in Human Resources
Have worked in a SaaS Company

Interview Process:
Our interview process is thorough — we aim to ensure each person joining the team is the right fit for Ashby and will provide ample information to assess if Ashby is the right fit for you. The process for this role is as follows:
Recruiter Screen with Talent Acquisition Team - 30 minutes
Hiring Manager Interview - 45 minutes
Take Home Assignment - 1 hour
Virtual Onsite - 2 hours
