We're looking for a Partner Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our platform and our strategic partners. This role combines technical expertise with relationship management skills to help us quickly plan, test, and facilitate key strategic partnerships.
In this role you will:
Technical Integration & Support
Lead technical onboarding and integration processes for new strategic partners
Design and implement custom demos and applications on Replit for partner demos and events
Troubleshoot technical issues across partner integrations
Provide technical guidance and best practices to partner development teams
Partner Enablement
Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for partner teams
Develop technical demos and proof-of-concepts for prospective partners
Host hackathons for initiatives across the partnership function
Serve as escalation point for complex technical partner issues
Product & Platform Development
Collaborate with engineering teams to build partner-focused features and tools
Design and develop partner-specific tooling, dashboards, and monitoring systems
Build internal tools to streamline partner management and technical operations
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Partnership, Sales, and Marketing teams on technical aspects of deals
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
Provide technical input on partnership strategy and go-to-market plans
Support sales engineering efforts for strategic partnership opportunities
Required skills and experience:
4+ years of software engineering, dev relations, sales engineering, or partner engineering experience
Comfortable speaking in large group settings and hosting hackathons
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript
Knowledge of Vibe Coding tools and traditional developer tools
Experience with common integrations and APIs
Nice to have:
Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT)
Background in SaaS platforms or B2B integrations
Extensive portfolio or experience building applications with Replit
Deep experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and modern integration patterns
Tools + Tech Stack for this role:
Languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar
APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, webhooks, message queues
Databases: SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools
Security: Authentication, encryption, secure API design

This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
