Snowflake is experiencing exponential growth, and we are expanding our Strategic Alliances team to help us scale. As Partner Development Manager for our SAP partnership, you will be responsible for developing, leading and executing the partner strategy. The success of this partnership is demonstrated by driving growth with our joint customers, delivering key GTM programs, enabling our mutual partners to grow their capabilities and deliver customer success

Reporting to the APJ CSP & Strategic Alliance Leader, you will have a unique opportunity to lead one of Snowflake’s most strategic partnerships.

  • The primary focus of the role will be to drive the APJ GTM through alignment with stakeholders in product, sales, marketing and other supporting functions

  • Work closely with Global Snowflake colleagues along with teams from the Americas and EMEA who are aligned with the SAP partnership to achieve annual sales targets

  • Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with key stakeholders in SAP, including sales leadership, product teams, and alliance counterparts.

  • Collaborate with the SAP partner lead for Snowflake defined goals, manage the business and resolve issues as they arise

  • Working in conjunction with Snowflake and SAP enablement teams and deliver enablement materials to Snowflake and SAP teams, around the customer benefits and differentiators of the SAP Snowflake solution.

  • Lead regional QBRs with Snowflake & SAP Leadership to drive alignment and key deliverables for growth of the partnership

  • Work with regional Snowflake and SAP marketing teams to execute compelling marketing programs that highlight the value of Snowflake and Snowflake + SAP joint solutions

  • Proactively build trust-based relationships across both internal, SAP stakeholders and mutual SI & ISV Partners.

On day one we will expect you to have:

  • With 10+ years of experience in alliance management, partner development, or business development, with a strong focus on enterprise software.

  • 3+ years of experience working with SAP as a partner and a strong understanding of SAP’s ecosystem, organisational structure, and go-to-market motions.

  • Proven success in leading alliance partnerships and the ability to identify and capitalise on areas of mutual business interests

  • Be analytical and data driven strategic thinker, capable of creative problem solving and pragmatic execution

  • History of success in working with cross-functional team members, including Sales, Sales Engineering, Finance, Marketing and Programs

  • Strong verbal and executive presentation skills to routinely communicate strategy, progress and impact of the partnership across executives, sales and technical functions

  • Travel will be required for this role as we build and grow the partnership.
