Job Description:
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. RBTs are responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping our clients develop essential skills and improve their overall quality of life.
The need for RBTs is growing, and so are the career opportunities. At Tellos, we support individuals wishing to obtain their RBT Certification so that we can grow a team of highly skilled and caring Therapists and Technicians for our kiddos. We provide training at no cost to you, and assist with the entire licensure process, ensuring you are on track for obtaining your certification.
You can begin offering services to the family while in training to be an RBT.
Responsibilities as a Registered Behavioral Technician:
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients in their home setting
Openly collaborate with your BCBA to provide the best care possible
Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
