Full Job Description
Are you ready to join us on an exciting journey? We live by #own (y)our growth and are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented person to help take Wemolo’s processes to the next level.
As an Operational Excellence Manager (all genders), you will be a vital part of an experienced team committed to company-wide efficiency and scalability. From day one, you will take ownership of complex system architectures and drive forward high-impact, strategic projects that serve as the backbone for our operations. You will act as a key technical partner to our leadership and operational teams, turning vague challenges into robust, automated long-term solutions.
What to expect
Project-Driven Scalability: You will lead highly variable, complex projects from initial design to full implementation, focusing on building a technical engine room that ensures Wemolo’s operations remain stable and scalable during rapid growth.
Operational Partnership: You will act as a consultant to our Operations teams, identifying their core pain points and translating operational needs into high-performing, user-friendly systems.
Technical Ecosystem Ownership: You will build and own the company’s technical foundation using n8n, MAKE, and Airtable, while utilizing your coding skills to develop custom scripts that bridge gaps where standard tools reach their limits.
Proactive System Design: Instead of just reacting to requests, you will proactively re-engineer existing workflows and design new, robust architectures from scratch to maximize efficiency across the entire organization.
AI & Future-Tech Pioneering: You will stay ahead of the curve by actively leveraging AI and modern tech trends to develop "intelligent" automations that give our operational teams a competitive edge in speed and quality.
Inspire us by
Professional Track Record: You bring 2+ years of experience in business automation, process management, system architecture or similar within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Academic Background: Ideally, you hold a degree in Business Informations, Computer Science, Natural Sciences or a comparable field.
Architectural Vision: You have a proven ability to design and implement complex, cross-departmental systems that are built for scalability and long-term stability.
Advanced Technical Skills: You are proficient in n8n, or similar orchestration platforms and have a foundation in Python (basic proficiency is sufficient) to handle custom technical challenges.
AI & Innovation Mindset: You are passionate about leveraging AI in a business context and have a track record of implementing modern, automated solutions.
Operations Expertise: You have a good understanding of Operations workflows (e.g., Supply Chain, Implementation, Customer Support etc.) and know what it takes to make these teams successful.
Strategic Problem Ownership: You are a proactive problem solver who can take a vague project idea and turn it into a fully functioning, high-performing internal tool.
Strong Communication: You are a confident communicator who can effectively translate technical architectures into clear solutions for stakeholders across the entire organization.
Languages & Culture: You are fluent in English (German is a plus) and look forward to collaborating with the team in our Munich office during our Tuesday to Thursday Anchor Days.
What We Offer
Flexibility & Responsibility: Your workday, your performance – Our hybrid model empowers you to focus from home, get fresh perspectives during workation, and connect in person during our Anchor Days (Tuesday to Thursday)
Tailored Mobility: Full speed ahead – Whether it’s sustainable bike leasing or a public transport subsidy, we keep you flexible and on the move
Ownership & Autonomy: Your impact, your results – Take full ownership of your area and your KPIs
Team Culture & Networking: Real connections – also beyond the day-to-day. Celebrate successes with us at legendary team events and OKR parties
Productive Environment: Brainfood deluxe – Whether it's portafilter coffee, Bella&Bona online cafeteria, fresh fruit or our muesli bar – your wellbeing fuels your performance
Health & Balance: Stay in balance with EGYM Wellpass or Urban Sports Club – access 1,000+ gyms and wellness spots across Germany
Top Equipment & Ergonomics: Mac or Windows, in the office or remote – we make sure you’re set up for efficiency and comfort
Dress Code? Your Code: What you do matters more than what you wear – dress in whatever makes you feel your best
