As a Medical Virtual Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to healthcare professionals in a remote setting. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.Responsibilities: Utilize your familiarity with EMR systems to manage patient records efficiently and accurately. Update and maintain EMR systems with new patient information, medical history, and treatment plans. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat. Explain our services to new patients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how our systems work and what to expect. Assist healthcare professionals in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating follow-up care. Collaborate with medical billing teams to ensure accurate coding and billing information. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive medical information. Work closely with the team to ensure seamless coordination and communication. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficient in using EMR systems, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients in a clear and concise manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data entry. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professional relationships with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team. Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes is a plus.
