VirtueStaff are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe for our client. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing a high-volume workload while maintaining exceptional accuracy. This role is pivotal in providing high-level support to healthcare professionals by ensuring that accurate and detailed patient information is documented efficiently during patient visits. As an experienced scribe, you will play a key role in improving the productivity of their healthcare providers and contributing to an improved patient experience.ResponsibilitiesManage a high-volume workload, processing and finalizing 80 to 100 charts per weekEnsure all clinical documentation is complete, compliant, and completed within the required timeframeAssist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks to maintain workflow efficiencyDocument patient encounters with a high level of accuracy and detailRecord comprehensive medical histories and physical examinationsCollaborate closely with healthcare providers to capture and summarize clinical informationEnsure compliance with all regulations, including HIPAA, regarding patient privacy and record-keepingPerform quality checks on documentation to ensure completeness and clarityAssist in creating and managing follow-up care instructions and discharge summariesStay current with medical advances and terminology relevant to your scribing tasksRequirementsProven experience and expertise as a Medical Scribe.Ideally, experience gained in Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Pain Management settingsMandatory experience and proficiency with the Point Click Care electronic health record (EHR) systemStrong familiarity with medical terminology and documentation best practicesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to type quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesComfortable working independently in a remote settingCurrent knowledge of HIPAA guidelinesStrong analytical skills and ability to follow multi-step instructionsBenefits Work From Home Performance Bonus
